Hull City head to West London on Saturday to face Queens Park Rangers in what’ll be another tough away day.
This follows what was a difficult game on the road for the Tigers on Tuesday night at Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United. Despite facing plenty of set pieces which were sent into their box, City defended resolutely to earn both a deserved point and clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.
City have a selection dilemma on their hands because of the injury that Lewie Coyle picked up at Bramall Lane in midweek. Therefore, Shota Arveladze has a big decision to make in picking Coyle’s replacement.

Despite being left footed, Callum Elder put in a good case to fill the right back slot after replacing Coyle on Tuesday night. On the other hand, it’s preferable to have the balance of a right footer playing at right back. Di’Shon Bernard is one candidate who could potentially fit the bill whilst academy player Tom Nixon is another that would naturally slot into the role.
Mark Warburton’s side are 4th in the Championship table and occupy one of the play-off places. However, Rangers have lost their last two league games which were against Barnsley and Millwall respectively. In fact, they’ve only picked up one point from their last three league games.
Despite this recent slump in form, QPR are still a team to be wary of and are in the higher echelons of the league table for very good reason. Their top scorer is Lyndon Dykes who has nine goals to his name so far this season.
Chris Willock and Ilias Chair are both real creative talents and stopping them from having an influence on the game is paramount to City’s chances of avoiding defeat. Willock has been one of the stand out players in the Championship this season. He’s got ten assists which puts him joint 2nd in the assists chart.
